NO 5-WEEK MINIMUM REGISTRATION REQUIRED! What do we do at Safari Club? We’re busy, busy, busy! We love to go on field trips! Campers travel four out-of-five days to a field trip destination such as a water park, amusement park, museum, mini-golf course, skating rinks, movie theaters, parks and many more. Safari Club campers get a swim lesson and “FREE” swim time every week at the Fry Family YMCA as well as “Campers choice” activities which may include a combination of sports – i.e. floor hockey, handball, soccer, dance, photography, improv, Tae Kwon Do, pottery, self-defense, Safari Idol, and much more. Other activities include counselor led crafts, games, group activities and best of all making lasting memories and building new friendships. Where do we go on field trips? We go all over the Chicagoland and Western Suburbs! Some highlighted field trips are: A Kane County Cougars Game, Medieval Times, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, Splash Country Water Park, Great America (grades 5-8) and many others. What do I bring to camp? Bring yourself, your enthusiasm and lots of energy! Campers also need to bring two healthy snacks, a sack lunch and water bottle everyday. No lunches will be provided by Safari Club. A swim suit and towel is needed on swim days and water park days. Don’t forget! Campers who sign-up for five or more weeks of Safari Club get a reduced rate and have the advantage of drafting their payments over 3-months (5/15, 6/15,7/15). Campers who register for four or less weeks of Safari Club must pay, in addition to the $50 non-refundable registration fee, plus a $25 deposit per camp at the time of registration, with the balance due two weeks before camp begins. Price reductions will not be given after initial registration.
