SUMMER ADVENTURE 2 CAMP (Entering Grades 5 - 8)   LOCATIONS:     Celebration! Community Center OR Brookdale Elementery School 919 S. Washington St. • Naperville   1200 Redfield Rd. • Naperville Graduate from Summer Adventure I into our Summer Adventure 2 camp. This camp offers a whole new set of field trips, activities and a curriculum designed with your “preteen” in mind. Offered at two convenient locations Summer Adventure 2 will give your child a summer they won’t forget. Camp includes team-building activities such as ropes courses and even community service opportunities that include trips to Feed My Starving Children, and an on-site charity car wash. Campers are always looking forward to the next day at Summer Adventure 2. Staff undergo days of extensive training that includes CPR/First Aid, behavior management, curriculum design and even child abuse prevention, giving them the tools necessary to guide your child through a summer to remember. No two days will be the same. On-site days are filled with age appropriate activities such as group games, team building activities and specialty clubs that include Tae Kwon Do, cooking and extreme sports. Past field trips have included Raging Waves Water Park, Kane County Cougars games and even a trip to Navy Pier for the day. In addition, the camp offers two swimming days a week at nearby Centennial Beach. Both locations provide both indoor and outdor activities and feature large parking lots for the safest and easiest drop-off and pick-up. Early drop-off and late pick-up (camp+) make Summer Adventure 2 even more convenient for working parents. Look no further, Summer Adventure 2 is the place to be! Celebration! Community Life Center is seconds away from historic downtown Naperville. This full service facility includes a gymnasium, two classrooms, a full kitchen for cooking club, and even the Open Door Café, for parents who need a little caffeine to get their day started. Also, through a unique partnership with P.A.D.S., each Friday campers have the opportunity to help set up the P.A.D.S. program and learn about the misfortunes of others and how they can do their part to help. This air-conditioned facility is also only minutes away from Lincoln Greenway Park and Veteran’s Park, making it the perfect place for all of camps exciting activities. The Brookdale Elementary School location has on-site playgrounds and fields for to make outdoor activities such as group games and sports all the more fun. This facility features a gymnasium and classrooms for arts and crafts. More importantly, Brookdale Elementary School is the perfect place to get away from the sun on those extra hot days. It is conveniently located in north Naperville minutes from I-88, making your commute to work a breeze.
